Father-daughter duo, Amanda Mancuso-Laird and Charles Mancuso, founded Waste Equipment to provide the highest quality commercial waste equipment and services on a national scale. After a decade of owning one of the largest recycling companies in Texas as well as a hauling company, composting facility, and landfill, they truly understand the complex aspects that accompany handling waste and recyclables. After starting Waste Equipment and providing customers with compactors and balers across the United States, it became apparent that there was an enormous need for a quality service provider that could deliver consistent results on a large scale. Waste Equipment has set out to provide just that.
Waste Equipment's mission is to bring service back to the service industry by delivering the same old fashioned customer service that was standard generations ago. With dozens of technicians utilizing the highest technology, they have created a streamlined dispatching system, excellent communication processes, and simplified same-day billing process. We realize that when your compactor or baler goes down it disrupts your daily operations, and our technicians are available 24/7 to ensure we get it up and running as fast as possible.

What our customers are saying
Frequently Asked Questions
-
What is a trash compactor?Trash compactors are used to process non-recyclable materials. The waste is loaded into the machine and subjected to tremendous pressure by a hydraulic or pneumatic press. Once it is processed, the volume of the waste is greatly reduced, which makes it easier to handle and cheaper to transport, since fewer hauling rounds are required.
-
What is a cardboard baler?Balers are used to process recyclable materials such as cans or cardboard. The materials are easily compressed and bound into bales for easier handling and transport.

My compactor and trash area stinks - what should I do?If your compactor and trash area has an odor, it could be that the site needs to be cleaned. Waste Equipment offers a compactor site steam cleaning service. You can read more about that here.
-
How does your preventative maintenance program work?In our preventative maintenance program, our highly trained technicians will make a quarterly, biannual, or annual visit to your facility to perform preventative maintenance on your equipment depending on the daily usage and age of your equipment. You can read more about our preventative maintenance program here.
-
How do your repair services work?Services can be requested via email, text, or phone. Once the service is requested, a ‘job scheduled’ email and text are sent to the client. This includes the date and arrival window of the technician. Once the technician arrives at the facility and begins working, a ‘job started’ text is sent to the client. While at the facility, our technician will have the manager present sign the work order as a confirmation of work done. When the job is completed, the technician will record that the job is finished and the client will receive a ‘job finished’ text. The invoice is emailed the same day with the client signature, technician notes, and photographs attached. All in the same day.
