225 And 225HD Stationary Compactors

The 225 Stationary Compactors are your best compaction value. Built for reliable performance in commercial and medium industrial situations, it effectively reduces solid waste material to a fraction of its original size. It is attractively priced and features a 56-second cycle time and powerful 55,100 lbs. (24.95 kg) maximum compaction force.

225 HD Stationary Compactor

The 225 HD compactor is specifically designed for tough waste-disposal applications. Heavy duty features such as 1⁄2" (12.7 mm) steel plate charge box floor over four 4" (102 mm) steel channels; 1⁄2" (12.7 mm) ram face plate backed with 10" (254 mm) channels that incorporate T-1 placed in high-stress areas; 3⁄8" (9.52 mm) ram top supported by eight heavy duty formed cross members; and heavily reinforced charge box sides.

The 225 HD is ideally suited for industrial applications such as the disposal of skids and cartons and recycling OCC (old cardboard containers), paper, and similar materials. Electrical components, including the control box assembly, are UL® and CUL® listed. The 40 1⁄2" (1029 mm) x 60" (1524 mm) charge box is 33" (838 mm) deep to make disposal fast and easy.

275 And 275HD Stationary Compactor

The 275 Stationary Compactor is your best 2.5 cubic yard capacity compactor value. Built for reliable performance in commercial and medium industrial applications, it effectively reduces solid waste material to a fraction of its original size. It features a 60-second cycle time and a powerful 55,100 pounds (24,993 kg) of compaction force.

450 Stationary Compactor

Every 225 Ultra series compactor comes standard with a watertight seal that is fully tested prior to leaving the factory. Liquid retention is ensured by the Waste Equipment Double-Hinge. It creates uniform seal compression while eliminating the seal “scrubbing” and damage so often encountered with competitive designs. The Double-Hinge also saves expensive driver and truck time because only one easy-to-operate ratchet makes it work.

500 And 500HD Stationary Compactors

Its rugged construction and large hydraulic power unit allow maximum compaction performance. The 550's large clear-top opening can accommodate oversized crates and cartons.

The 550 is solidly reinforced with 4" I-beams throughout. The sturdy ram has a 1/2" (12.7 mm) face plate. The sides are constructed of 1/4" (6.35 mm) thick steel supported by 14 vertical angles with 1" (25.4 mm) by 4" (101.6 mm) bar running horizontally on each side of the charge box area for increased rigidity and strength. The tough 1" (25.4 mm) by 8" (203.2 mm) by 6" ( 152.4 mm) angle breaker bar easily handles the challenges of daily industrial trash.

Transfer Station Applications

The 550 is also designed for residential collection vehicles serving transfer station applications for municipalities and private contractors. A conveniently located 550 transfer facility will eliminate the need for unnecessary trips to the landfill by intermediate collection vehicles, resulting in fuel, maintenance, and labor cost reductions. Compaction into large compaction containers or transfer trailers may also reduce dumping fees.
