4 Ways to Ensure Safety With Heavy Machinery

Updated: Aug 16, 2019

We're going to go over some ways to keep you and your staff safe while working with machinery! Check out these tips.

  1. Training. The most important thing about working with compactors and balers is understanding your machine. Make sure to take some time before using your machine to look at the manual and learning the ins and outs of your machine.

  2. Regular Inspections. Having a machine that works correctly is going to prevent injury and damage to your machine. Make sure to visually inspect your machine for anything out of order before each use.

  3. Regular Service. Schedule a service with us or a service company regularly to make sure that everything is running correctly and to repair any run down parts.

  4. Check and Then Check Again. When operating your composter or baler, check your surroundings and then double check them to prevent injuring yourself or a coworker.
